Of Jackson, joined his wife, Gloria Robinson in Heaven on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 89. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Mollenkopf; sister, Rosetta Porath; brothers, Gilbert and Louis Robinson. He will be remembered by his son, Donald Robinson; daughter, Dinah (John) Hollek; son-in-law, Robert Mollenkopf; four grandchildren, Stacey (Randy) Lewis, Jason Hollek, Colby (Julie) Hollek and Dustin Hollek; two great grandchildren, Ramona Hollek and Kayleigh Lewis; sisters, Frances Weaver and Betty Farrell as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He will be remembered by his son, Donald Robinson; daughter, Dinah (John) Hollek; son-in-law, Robert Mollenkopf; four grandchildren, Stacey (Randy) Lewis, Jason Hollek, Colby (Julie) Hollek and Dustin Hollek; two great grandchildren, Ramona Hollek and Kayleigh Lewis; sisters, Frances Weaver and Betty Farrell as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Joe was born to Joseph and Ora (Woods) Robinson, Sr. in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. After serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict Mr. Robinson returned to the Stockbridge area where he worked as a carpenter and raised a family. He had a strong work ethic and proudly build homes until he was nearly 80 years old. He loved his family and enjoyed traveling with his wife, going on fishing trips and being outdoors. Joe loved his dogs and touched the lives of many. He will be greatly missed. According to his wishes cremation has been selected and there will be a service honoring his life at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 12:00 noon, followed by Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
