Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, August 8, 2017, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Heinen; children, David (Monica) Heinen and Melissa (Mark) Kurzynowski; grandchildren, Tyler and Cassie Tesch; great grandson, Evan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by three siblings, Barb Raymond, Deloris "Tiny" Kennedy and Beverly Johnson. Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, August 8, 2017, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Heinen; children, David (Monica) Heinen and Melissa (Mark) Kurzynowski; grandchildren, Tyler and Cassie Tesch; great grandson, Evan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by three siblings, Barb Raymond, Deloris "Tiny" Kennedy and Beverly Johnson. He was born to John and Bessie (Higgins) Heinen in Jackson on April 11, 1936. After graduating from Vandercook Lake High School he proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Korean Conflict. Then returned to Jackson, married and raised a family. He retired from Polly's Food Services after over 40 years of service; was a member of the American Legion a hardworking man and committed to his family. Mr. Heinen will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Military Honors.
